Razer Unveils the Blade 18 gaming laptop Core i9-14900HX, RTX 4090 and 4K screen with a refresh rate of 200 Hz
Razer announced the start of sales of the updated gaming laptop Razer Blade 18 (2024). The new product offers a powerful Intel processor from the Raptor Lake Refresh series and, as an option, is equipped with an advanced display with support for 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 200 Hz.
The new product is offered in an aluminum case with a thickness of 21.99 mm, black or silver. The Razer Blade 18 (2024) is based on a 24-core and 32-thread Intel Core i9-14900HX with a frequency of up to 5.8 GHz.
The laptop can offer up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM or up to 64 GB DDR5-5200. Also, the new product can be equipped with two NVMe PCIe 4.0 drives with a capacity of 2 TB each. As a graphics subsystem, you can choose GeForce RTX 4060 or GeForce RTX 4070 with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, GeForce RTX 4080 with 12 GB of memory or the flagship GeForce RTX 4090 with 16 GB of memory.
As available options, the Razer Blade 18 (2024) offers three types of 18-inch displays: with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 240 Hz; with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, Mini-LED backlighting and a refresh rate of 300 Hz; with a resolution of 4K (3840 × 2400 pixels) and a refresh rate of 200 Hz. The latter is offered for the first time in laptops. All displays have an aspect ratio of 16:10.
The laptop keyboard has RGB backlighting for each key. The laptop has a system of six speakers and three amplifiers, and also offers optional support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The laptop also includes a 5-megapixel infrared camera with support for the Windows Hello authorization system, three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, one Thunderbolt 4 (USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C) with an alternative charging function up to 100 W and DisplayPort 1.4, to which can connect an external Nvidia graphics card, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with 100 W charging function, a 2.5-gigabit network adapter, HDMI 2.1, a UHS-II memory card reader and a 3.5 mm audio output.
The dimensions of the Razer Blade 18 (2024) laptop are 21.90 × 275.40 × 399.90 mm and the weight is 3.1 kg. In offline mode, the new product is powered by a 91.7 Wh battery. The package includes GaN charging with a power of 280 or 330 W, depending on the configuration of the laptop.
The Razer Blade 18 (2024) starts at $3099.99 or €3599.99. The new product is already available in the official online store Razer.com. The laptop will also be available at authorized resellers soon.
