Xiaomi recently released the much awaited Redmi Note 4, sporting some amazing specs and with this the market of smartphones is all getting heated up as this newly released phone will take on another giant – Moto G4 Plus. Both of them have some really amazing specs like bigger batteries, good display, latest Android version and the capability to play heavy games at ease. The newly released Redmi Note 4 runs on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor which seems to be a more powerful chip than the 28nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor that drives the Moto G 4 Plus. Also the entry level variant of Redmi note 4 offers 32GB of space which is more than what is provided by the entry level variant of Moto G4 plus.

When it comes to clicking pictures and recording videos, Moto G4 plus finds an edge above Redmi note 4. Moto G4 plus sports a 16MP rear and a 5MP front facing camera with additional features like autofocus and 1080p video recording while Redmi note 4 features a 13MP rear and a 5MP rear camera. The pictures taken by Moto g4 certainly seemed much better,clear and crisp when compared with its competitor.
In terms of battery power, Redmi note 4 certainly leads the race by quite a margin as it features a massive 4100 mAH replaceable battery while its competitor features a 3000 mAH non replaceable battery. In normal conditions of temperature and pressure and under normal usage, the batteries didn’t heat up and performed decently.
For the base model, Xiaomi Redmi note 4 is priced at $136 while Moto G4 plus is priced at $200.
In terms of specs and performance, both the smartphones seems to go neck to neck and can be chosen depending on your areas of interest. However if overall performance and price is taken into consideration, Redmi note 4 is surely expected to outdo its opponent.
