Xiaomi is allegedly arranging for Galaxy Note Edge-like smartphone along with dual-edge display, which is christened as the Xiaomi Arc. As per GizmoChina, a supposed advertisement of the s-yet-unannounced Xiaomi Arc was speckled that was called as the globe’s first smartphone that comes up with dual-edge display and dual-curved screen. But at the same time, the statement does not disclose the resource of the advertisement.
The Xiaomi Arc (also quoted as Xiaomi Arch) seems to be similar to a concept smartphone from the self-styled poster image as well as specifications: dual-edge display rather than just single-edge display witnessed on the newly introduced Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
At the same time, there is no such authentication by the manufacturer regarding the Xiaomi Arc. The main two gadgets which are anticipated from the manufacturer Xiaomi @ CES 2015 are Mi 4S or Mi 5 smartphone as well as the MiPad 2 tablet. Both these devices have been recently seen in supposed specifications plus images.
If you have a look at the image of the suspected Mi 5 or Mi 4S, it seemed to be a big screen phablet and it was expected to come up with sapphire glass display. This sapphire glass rumour is still in line up with a preceding report, where the manufacturer was supposed to have placed an order of 50,000 sapphire covers especially for the smartphone.
Talking about the specifications, the expected Mi 5 or Mi 4S or Arc is believed to consist of 5.7 inches Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) display screen, 3GB of RAM, a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor and last but not the least 20.7 megapixel rear camera. However, the estimated Xiaomi MiPad tablet is supposed to be called as MiPad 2 and is said to house an Intel chipset (1.8GHz), rather than an Nvidia Tegra SoC which is actually seen on original MiPad. The other specification rumored for MiPad 2 incorporated 7.9 inches display screen with 2048×1536 pixels resolution, 16GB of built-in storage, 2GB of RAM plus MIUI skinned on Android4.4.4 KitKat.
