Video chat is one of the greatest wonders of science for humanity. Adding to the group chat feature, Google has now developed a new application called ‘Cameraman’ for Hangouts. This application allows you to select which of your guests appear to your viewers. In simple words, with this application you get a mute control on a person’s video feed. So if at anytime you don’t want that person to be globally seen among your viewers, you can simple click that mute button and hide that person from your viewers. If you hit the mute button again, the hidden person will be unmuted and will be seen in the broadcast again.
This is a great tool for an interview broadcast. Whether it is global or in your circles, you can easily mute a person and introduce him with your viewers and then let him come in the forefront or just mute him after you have finished interviewing him. Also the guests joining you in your hangouts are by default hidden. You can change this property by using the ‘Cameraman’ application.
