Asus launched a large flagship smartphone Zenfone 11 Ultra at price of 1000 euros
Asus has officially unveiled the new flagship smartphone Zenfone 11 Ultra, which is significantly larger than its predecessors. The device is equipped with an advanced camera and will provide high performance thanks to its powerful hardware.
The developers equipped the Zenfone 11 Ultra with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display supporting a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels (Full HD+), a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 2500 cd/m². The screen is protected from mechanical damage by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The device body is made in accordance with the IP68 standard (the smartphone can withstand immersion in water to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes).
At the top of the display there is a hole in which a 32-megapixel front camera (f/2.5) is installed. On the back of the case there is a triple main camera. It is built on the basis of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor (f/1.9) with a 6-axis mechanical stabilizer Gimbal stabilizer3.0. In addition to this, there is a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera with a viewing angle of 120º and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. The camera supports shooting 8K video at up to 24 fps, 4K at up to 60 fps, 1080p at up to 240 fps, or 720p at up to 480 fps.
Zenfone 11 Ultra received a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 microprocessor (one Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of up to 3.3 GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of up to 3.2 GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of up to 3.0 GHz and two Cortex-A520 cores with a frequency of up to 2.3 GHz). The Adreno 750 accelerator is responsible for processing graphics. The device will be available in versions with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory or 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM. There is no slot for a memory card in the design.
The configuration is complemented by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless adapters. A 3.5 mm jack is provided to connect a headset. Autonomous operation is provided by a 5500 mAh rechargeable battery with support for wired charging up to 65 W, wireless – up to 15 W, and reverse wired – up to 10 W. To replenish energy, it is proposed to use the USB Type-C connector.
Like many other modern flagships, Zenfone 11 Ultra supports various AI-powered features. We are talking not only about processing photos and videos, but also tracking faces when shooting, the ability to transcribe audio into text, noise reduction, smart wallpaper, etc. Android 14 is used as the software platform.
Zenfone 11 Ultra has dimensions of 163.8 × 76, 8 × 8.9 mm and weighs 224 g. It will be available in four colour options: Skyline Blue, Eternal Black, Misty Gray and Desert Sand. You can buy a flagship with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory for €999, while for the version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage you will have to pay €1099. In the US, the price of the new product starts at $899.
